A polite
introduction of yourself and
where you live, and if
you are a breeder... of your
breeding program goals, the way you
house your cats, how many, what
lines you are working with, etc.

and will elicit a faster
response. Also please tell me if you
are inquiring for a
show/breed, show/neuter, breed
or pet kitten.

Jerba Nicol
kittens and cats are produced
from only the best of selective
breeding of 23 years dedicated
to improving the Persian and
Exotic breed. The cats at Jerba
Nicol are bred specifically for
show quality kittens for show
competitions. Sometimes we may
get breeder quality or pet
quality kittens available for
responsable owners.
My kittens are hand raised in a
family environment where they
are well socialized. They are
very used to being bathed and
groomed before leaving to their
new home. All kittens
are healthy and come from PKD negative parents.
Jerba Nicol kittens and cats are
well known as for their
outstanding personality!
The prices of my kittens depend
on each individual kitten's
bloodlines, type and applicable
markings. All prices
are negotiable so I do not like
to get any haggling over fees or
trades. Kittens/cats for showing
in premiorship should be half of
the show/breeding price. Kittens
sold as pets will be
neutered/spayed or will be sold
with a spay/neuter contract
only. I do not resell
adult cats for breeding!
All Jerba Nicol kittens are sold
on a co-ownership with the
breeder to protect the kitten
from being resold without the
agreement and signatures of all
co-owners!
Usually I allow to pick up the
kittens between 4 and 5 months
of age. From about this age only the
kittens have had basic
inoculations and developed the
physical and social stability to
adjust to a new environment. At
that time they of course are
wormed and are updated on
their vaccinations. For shipping
this also includes European
pet-passport,
health certificates, microchip
& rabies.
Kittens for transport by air
need to be at least 5 months old
(shippingprices plus vetting
from 500 Euro
and up).
Sorry... I cannot
accommodate shipping
requirements to quarantine
countries!
When choosing a
showkitten from Jerba Nicol, I
expect the new owner will show
it to its full potential, while
giving it the best grooming,
care and of course... lots of
love.
It is understood that
kittens are for the breeder's
individual program, and not to
be shared or re-sold to other
parties. Jerba Nicol kittens are
placed in loving, small and
approved home environments only. I do
not sell to catteries with
cages and to 'commercial' catteries
who sell their cats and kittens
in online auctions. Also please do not inquire if
you have none-healthy cats and/or
if you breed with PKD positive
cats.
A strict
signed contact is required on
all Jerba Nicol kittens!!!
Additionally... several of my
cats I have purchased with
restrictions, whereas I agreed
to not sell their offspring to
certain regions and/or
countries. So please do not ask
me to violate these
restrictions. I will never for
any reason break a contract
because it is a matter of
personal integrity.
Jerba Nicol kittens are
available on a 'first come first
serve' basis and can be reserved
by a non-refundable deposit
only! I reserve the right of refusal
for the sale or reservation of any kitten at
anytime without explanation.

Love My Little
Kitty...
I love my
little kitty, she makes my house
a home.
She always is my best friend, I
never feel alone.
She makes me smile, she makes me
laugh,
She fills my heart with love...
Did some breeder breed her, or
did she fall down from above?
I've never been a breeder, seen
life through their eyes,
I hold my little kitty and just
sit and criticize.
I've never known their anguish,
I've never felt their pain,
The caring of their charges,
through snow or wind and rain.
I've never sat the whole night
through, waiting for babies to
be born,
The stress and trepidation when
they're still not there by dawn.
I've never felt the heartache,
of a little life in my hands.
This darling little baby, who
weighs but 60 grams.
Should you do that instead of
this... or this instead of that,
Alone you fight, and hope one
day, he'll grow to be a cat,
and bring joy to another being,
and make a house a home,
You know it's all just up to
you, you'll fight this fight
alone.
Formula, bottles, heating pads,
you've got to get this right,
Two hourly feeds for this tiny
guy, throughout the day and
night.
In your heart you know, you're
almost sure to lose the fight,
to save this little baby, but
God willing... you just MIGHT.
Day one he's in there fighting,
you say a silent prayer,
Day two & three, he's doing
well, with lots of love and
care.
Day four & five....he's still
alive, your hopes soar to the
heavens,
Day six he slips away again,
dies in your hands on day seven.
You take this little angel, and
bury him alone,
With a aching heart and burning
tears, and an exhausted groan,
You ask yourself "Why do
this?... why suffer all this
pain?"
But see the joy your kittens
bring... it really self
explains.
So, when you think of breeders
and label them with "greed",
Think about what they endure to
fill another's need.
When you buy a kitten and with
your precious dollar or euro
part,
You only pay with money... We
pay with our heart.
